Engineering Officer Gr.1The selection is on the basis of their GATE Score 2021/ 2022 in the order of merit.
Scientific / Engineering AssistantThe eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for Computer Based MCQ Test. The final selection will be based on their performance in MCQ test and academic merit. The weightage for the purpose will be 50% each in respect of Academic Merit & Marks scored in the MCQ test.
Technician Gr.1The eligible candidates will be called for Computer Based MCQ test and Trade test. The final selection will be based on their performance in the MCQ test subject to qualifying in Trade test. Trade test will be gono-go basis. The candidates who qualify in the Trade test, empanelment shall be done based on MCQ test merit. Qualifying in Trade test is mandatory for selection.
Assistant Gr. IIThe eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for Computer Based MCQ Test. The final selection will be based on their performance in the MCQ Test and Academic merit (i.e. 50% each) subject to their qualifying in skill test(Computer Typing Test). Skill Test (Computer typing test) which will be purely on go-no-go basis. From amongst the candidates who qualify will be empanelled based on merit.

Selection Process for Management Trainee (Technical) in SAIL

SAIL will be recruiting Management Trainees (Technical) in the seven engineering disciplines as mentioned above by utilisation of GATE 2022 scores. For this, SAIL will be utilising the scores obtained in the seven GATE 2022 Engineering papers i.e., Mechanical (ME), Metallurgical (MT), Electrical (EE), Chemical (CH), Civil (CE) Instrumentation (IN) and Mining (MN).

The candidates who have appeared in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 Examination are eligible to apply. Candidates who apply for SAIL will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the relevant GATE 2022 examination paper and Company’s requirement.

Shortlisted candidates would be intimated through careers page website of SAIL to appear for Group Discussion and Interview.

For final selection, the merit list will be drawn by combining the scores of Written test (GATE 2022), GD and Interview with the weightage of 75:10:15 in that order.

जब गाय का बछड़ा जब छोटा रहता है तब उसे एक छोटी रस्सी के सहारे बांध दिया जाता है उसके सामने चारा का टोकरा रखकर उसको खाने में बाध्य किया जाता है लेकिन जब वह बछड़ा उस रस्सी से छूटने के लिए काफी कोशिश करता है तो  रस्सी के रगड़ने से उसके गले में काफी निशान पड़ जाते हैं अतः अंत में थक हार कर उसे मजबूरी में वह चारा खाना पड़ता है और एक समय ऐसा आता है कि वही बछड़ा बड़ा होकर एक बैल बन जाता है और खेतों में धरती का सीना फाड़ कर आगे निकलता रहता है लेकिन फिर भी अपने बचपन में बंधे उस खूँट के रस्सी को तोड़ नहीं पाता क्योंकि वह अपनी सोच में बंद चुका है वह समझता है कि मैंने अगर इस रस्सी को बचपन से आज तक नहीं तोड़ पाया तो क्या अब तोड़ पाऊंगा । ओर अपनी यथार्थ शक्ति को भूल कर जिंदगी भर गुलामी में बंधा रहता है । अगर ये तय करना है कि दुनिया का सबसे ताकतवर जानवर जंगल में रहेगा या सर्कस में तो उसकी सोच बांध दो ! अगर सोच बांध देँगे तो वह सर्कस का शेर कहलायेगा। अगर अपनी सोच में आजाद हैं तो जंगल का शेर कहलाएगा ।

निष्कर्ष : आज हर इंसान की सोचने की छमता कम होती जा रही है ,इसका मुख्य कारण है माहौल ,परवरिश ।

जिस प्रकार एक मेंढक अपने ही तलाब को अपनी पूरी बड़ी दुनिया कहता है और कभी उससे बाहर आने की कोशिश नहीं करता लेकिन शायद उस मेंढक को यह पता ना हो कि उससे भी बड़ी एक दुनिया है जिसे समुद्र कहा जाता है आज हमारी जिंदगी एक मेंढक के समान हो गई है हम अपने ही छोटे से कुएं वाली जिंदगी में खुश है और उससे कभी बाहर नहीं आना चाहते हैं आज अपने आप को बदलना होगा आज अपनी सामर्थ्य को पहचानना होगा अपनी सोच को बड़ी करनी होगी और एक नौकरी के समान नहीं बल्कि एक बिजनेसमैन के तौर पर उभरना होगाहुनर हर इंसान के पास होता है लेकिन किसी का छिप जाता है तो किसी का छप जाता है ।
