We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our team in the development of the MICRON Software Suite, our cutting edge imaging and image management software application.

 Job Description:  

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the development team to enhance the user experience and add data management features to the MICRON Software Suite.
• Develop and maintain productized Windows client software, ensuring high-quality code and performance.
• Utilize expertise in Qt and C++ to create and maintain software components, interfaces, and user interfaces.
• Contribute to the control of hardware products with software, including serial communications, video streaming, and complex state machines.
• Implement advanced features such as autofocus, HDR, built-in image adjustment controls, and OCT enhancements, depending on skillset.
• Participate in a Jira workflow for project management and issue tracking.
• Collaborate with the team to conduct weekly stand-up meetings and be available for live chats during some portion of Pacific business hours. Qualifications:
• Expertise in Qt and C++ development.
• Proven experience in developing productized Windows client software.
• Knowledge of image and video processing is a plus.
• Experience in controlling hardware products with software, including serial communications, video streaming, and complex state machines.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a Jira workflow.
• Availability for live chats during Pacific business hours and participation in weekly stand-up meetings.
• Willingness to commit to an extended period to amortize the learning curve.

 Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
