Job Description:

The Backup Production Support Analayst is a versatile and highly motivated individual who supplies front line technical support and customer service in backup and restoring data. As a Production Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical and escalation support for production issues for customers. Being a vital part of the Production Support team involves working on highly complex systems and providing general technology support services for our clients, ensuring overall customer satisfaction and total resolution of each support incident.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the team and maintain the backup environment healthy to maintain RPO/RTO
  • Mentor team members technically on backup applications and be a point of contact for any production support issues. Adhering to SLAs and work with SME on root cause analysis, troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot backup issues involving various backup error codes.
  • Good exposure in Incident management (CR/WO/WR and Incident tickets) and vendor management.
  • Work with the team on critical issues and Major Incident calls in the event of outage.
  • Generate and work on various program metrics using reports and automate procedures to enhance backup process
  • Prepare and update technical documents
